The PERFECT Green Juice Recipe

In the spirit of spring cleansing and March being allll about the GREEN, please enjoy this JUICE recipe that is full of vegetables, fruits, and detoxing properties. Some are saying that this will make you lucky… but I heard it through the grapevine (or grapefruit!). NO juicer is required, and you can put it into a glass container. 🥬

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple (cored)

  • 1 grapefruit (peeled)

  • A handful of parsley

  • 2 celery stalks

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 lemon (peeled)

  • 1-inch piece of ginger (peeled)

  • 1 cucumber (chopped)

  • 1 to 1.5 cups of filtered water (for blending)

Recipe:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Chop the apple, cucumber, and celery into smaller pieces for easier blending. Peel the grapefruit, lemon, and ginger.

  2. Blend: Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Start with 1 cup of filtered water and blend on high until smooth. If the consistency is too thick, add an extra ½ cup of water and blend again.

  3. Strain (Optional): Pour the blended juice through a fine mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher. Use a spoon or clean hands to squeeze out as much juice as possible.

  4. Store: Transfer the juice into an airtight glass jar or bottle.

  5. Refrigerate: Store in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Shake well before drinking, as natural separation will occur.

Tips for Best Freshness:

  • If storing for longer, add a splash of lemon juice to preserve freshness.

  • Keep in a dark glass bottle or mason jar to minimize oxidation.

  • Freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage—just thaw as needed!
