HIGH PROTEIN Salted Caramel Banana Smoothie

To finish off the month of my September Summer Smoothie Series, please enjoy this HIGH PROTEIN Salted Caramel Banana Smoothie that is to DIE for, It is loaded with healthy fats from the tahini, cashews, and chia seeds, high in protein with the chia seeds and protein powder, and still has greens in the protein powder. If you don’t have this exact protein powder, add in just a sprinkle of fresh spinach (you won’t taste or see it at all).

I am not kidding when I say that this smoothie is one of my best ones yet. You can make it even better by leaving it in the fridge overnight and it is the *perfect* high protein, filling dessert. It’s very nutrient dense, so can also act as a meal replacement. This one is also great for taking on the go because it is so thick and holds its consitency of a while.

ENJOY. 🤎🍌

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen banana

  • 1 scoop Garden of Life Vanilla Protein Powder + Greens

  • 1 tbsp tahini (no oils added)

  • 1 tbsp (yes tablespoon) ground cinnamon

  • 1 splash vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsps raw cashews

  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1/4 cup sprouted oats (I love One Degree Organics, but any organic oats will do)

  • 1 1/2 cups soy milk or milk of choice

  • Salted cauliflower pretzels (or regular, but Fit Joy, Quinn, and From the Ground Up are my favorite brands), one Medjool date, and sprinkle of sea salt for topping

Recipe:

  • Add all ingredients except the toppings into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass or bowl, topping with salted pretzels, one date, and a small spinkle of sea salt. This one is a great dessert kept in the refrigerator.
