2025 Wellness Trends/Updates 💪🏼
Hello everyone and happy 2025! 2024 was an amazing year. I turned 31 on December 26th, but inside, I feel like I am still 18. I moved into a new space, I signed brand deals with companies, I started monetizing my fitness videos, and so much more in between. I overcame a lot of internal horrible thoughts about myself that came up since being divorced, and I started to really own and love who I am for one of the first (trulllly first) times in my life.
Turning 31 was amazing. I had a lot of love sent my way and when my close friends/family asked what I wanted to do, I really did just want to go for a swim, be at home, watch a good show, and to rest and do no work. The older I get, the more I realize that I have a lot of fire in me. I dive head first into anything I do and have opened and started many things in my life so far. Even so, I also want the quality of life that I desire. I want to wake up in the morning on my days off and not always workout first or feel rushed. In 2025, I am focusing so much more on how I make people feel and how I want to feel on a day to day basis. It feels so aligned, and I can’t wait to see what comes from that.
In 2024 I feel like I really left a lot of self-insecurity. Having been in partnership with someone since I was 15 (literally, which is so insane), finding myself and not absorbing myself into a partner or friend has been a challenge - one worth taking on. I didn’t have that “time” in my early 20’s to discover myself independently, but I am getting to do that now in a relationship that is healthy. It’s not perfect, but it’s such progress from where I have come.
In 2025 I want to remember there is no “peak” in life. We just keep climbing and hopefully, we enjoy the day to day hike of it. I am so happy to be pouring myself into BDW and seeing it grow. I already have subscribers and good feedback, which brings me so much joy. I am very much attempting to make this business successful without the extreme over-working masculine energy that I had in my twenties. I want to work hard, but I also want to be present in my life and enjoy the process of it. I want to make sure that everyone I work with is happy, and that my subscribers are feeling seen, heard, and supported too.
Last thing I’ll leave you with is the reminder that you are in absolute control of your life. I know that can be corny, but you really do. You have ONE life, that we know of anyways, so why not make it the absolute dream life that you want? Are you with a partner that makes you happy? How do you feel in your job? If you hate your job or anything in your life, start looking for another one or things that align more to happiness, which is different for each and every one of us. Find hobbies you love to fill your free time. If you want to sharpen your focus or feel more lean and strong, you have to start. Start walking, swimming, biking, eating less or better. Whatever you don’t like in your life, only you have the power to change that.
Okay, getting a bit more personal, here are some things in 2025 I love or that I am doing that are non-negotiable. Going with the In and Out trend on social media, here is where I am at:
2025 In’s:
I am swearing by mouth tape. I’ve been mouth taping for 7 months now and my sleep has never been better. I’ve been asked so much what are the changes I’ve seen, and I have better breath, less puffiness in my face, less fatigue in the morning (even with fasting!), and a sharper jawline. I use and love Skinny Confidential and will continue to keep this in my routine.
The Oura ring is where it’s at! So many friends told me to get one and we finally caved. P and I got some for Christmas - my biological age is 23, but his was younger (which I’ll hear about until the end of time!). I love tracking my sleep, my heart rate, and it syncs to my Natural Cycles app where I track my periods. I have been using Natural Cycles for 14 months now and I absolutely love it, and not having to take my temperature every morning because it automatically syncs to the Oura App is such a game changer for me.
Fasting until at least noon, sometimes all day, at least 5-6 days/week. Controversial I know, but my bloat is literally gone and my energy is actually up. We rely so much on food for happiness and energy, but we have stores of both of those inside of us. If you have more questions on this, please email me personally and I can answer more detailed questions!
This year I am starting a Patreon, which will include this blog or more. Stay tuned!
Less is more. I am realizing that if I don’t do something completely present and 100%, what is the point of doing it at all? I don’t rush through blogs just to get them out or social media posts just to get them “out”. I plan a bit better and make sure that everything I put out is with so much intention. Time batching helps a lot.
I finally have a physical therapy doctor at the hospital/BDW balance, and it feels so good. BDW is growing and it feels so good!!! The fact that people use my meditations and workouts at home to better their own lives brings me so much joy I can’t stand it. Thank you so much. 🥹🫶🏻 Any feedback is appreciated, as this brand is in it’s baby stages!
Another thing I keep keep going back to over and over again is my “why” every single day. Doing this will keep you focused when you have to make decisions that can feel overwhelming. In my To Be Magnetic work (which I will talk about below), they call it your “Authentic Code”. Decisions (especially for an ADHD, perfectionistic, anxious person) are 10x easier when they come from your why and your authentic code.
To Be Magnetic work is something I will have done for 5 years now since 2020 and I absolutely swear by it. I go to therapy at least every other week if not every week, but TBM is something I did before I could afford therapy. This work has inner child and shadowing workshops, and like mouth tape, something I’ll probably do forever! I also think journaling is a practice everyone could benefit from a few times a week is amazing for goal setting, mental clarity, and releasing any stored energy in your body you’ve been holding onto.
Daily meditation! I never go without at least 5 minutes. I am currently on a 160 day streak! I have used Insight Timer for 10+ years and love their prayer or manifestation meditations. You can also meditate with me on my website or on Insight Timer.
Supplements I love and swear by:
Solluna Digestive Enzymes with meals, especially large ones, help to keep me less bloated.
Magnesium L-Threonate from Momentus at night has been so good for my sleep! My REM sleep is so good, tracked on the Oura App, and I sleep through the night.
Seed (a capsule) or Omnibiotic (a powder) (I go back and forth between the two) in the morning to help with gut bacteria balance (and I swear it helps with depression and anxiety) and bloat.
Diet in 2025:
Fasting more! I love the challenge and have so much mental clarity when I do.
Smaller portions and more matcha lattes > coffee, especially past 2 PM!
No alcohol indefinitely. I plan on writing an entire blog on this, but for now, I thought I’d share the NA brands I am loving currently, which are Ritual, Seedlip, and Curious Elixirs. It’s amazing how much more mental clarity and decreased anxiety I have.
Less seed oils, less processed food in general! It doesn’t make me feel good to over consume this, mentally or physically.
Wellness products/tools I love and swear by
Goop Genes Body Butter (I use every day everywhere!)
Goop 15% Glycolic Acid Overnight Glow Peel I use 1x/week and also looove.
Silk pillow cases from Slip have been such a game changer
I dry brush at LEAST 5x/week and I swear by it for dead skin and less bloat! Full tutorial from a physical therapist here.
22 Stone Bloom Candles. If you’re not local, she ships! I don’t burn anything else because I to be breathing in scents that don’t disrupt my hormones. We also do many giveaways on my Instagram if you’re interested!
Red light therapy! I currently go to Cryo 2.0 locally but soon will be purchasing Joovv or BonCharge red light face mask.
2024 Outs:
