September Summer Detox Smoothie Bowl
Even though Pumpkin Spice (healthy pumpkin matcha latte recipe here) was announced 2 weeks ago, we’re still in smoothie season. This is the first of a #septembersummersmoothieseries that I’m putting on for September 2024, because smoothies are seriously just the best. Plus, it’s a precursor to something exciting I have coming up next year, as well as a tribute to one of my favorite months and my favorite times of year: the transition between summer and fall. This smoothie is packed with vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, fiber, and the detoxing and immune power of spirulina. You will NOT want to miss this one, I have it on repeat.
Happy Blending (and a happy gut). 🤎

Toppings for a bowl (optional):
1/2 sliced banana
Almond butter, rolled into small balls by hand
Purely Elizabeth Original Granola
Desiccated coconut flakes

Recipe:
Place all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Top with toppings and enjoy fresh, although I saved my in the fridge for several hours and it was still wonderful.
