My Experience with EMDR Therapy
On this #wellnesswednesday, I was inspired by a goop podcast episode I listened to to write about EMDR therapy and my experience with it. I’ve talked about EMDR therapy on my social media just a bit and discussed it with people I’ve met in person, but I thought it might be good for me to write about what it is and how the experience has been for me while participating in it.
2 Life Lessons My Accident Taught Me
On April 5, 2021, my life stopped abruptly. When I reflect back on the past two years and the accident in particular, I realize it took being in so much physical and emotional pain for me to realize that only I can control my life. I didn’t know who I was, but after the past few years, I feel like I do. So to celebrate two years of being alive after almost dying, here are the two major lessons that I learned.

We are meant to evolve, change, and grow into many versions of ourselves in this lifetime - in career, relationships, and in our health and well-being. Your path will look like nobody else's, and that is so beautiful.
Life Lessons from 2022
2020 taught me to grind hard and take board long exams and cope with the anxiety of a global pandemic. 2021 taught me to overcome extreme physical trauma, eating disorders, and how truly powerful food and meditation can be as lifestyle factors in healing our mind and bodies. 2022 was the hardest yet though; it taught me how to open up a business and how to cope with emotional trauma.
